Clarity Entertainment Backs Out Of Stillwater Deal

Clarity Entertainment Inc. has backed out of the deal to buy land in the Stillwater Business District that they planned to use for their new production studio. Clarity stated that there was no economically feasible way to sound proof their building to block aircraft noise coming from the nearby airport. Last I check the airport has been there the entire time, well before the Stillwater Business Park was ever developed. This deal was dead in the water from the get go. The representative from Clarity Entertainment came out to Redding, Ca flashing stacks of cash and promising actors and actresses stardom. Although Redding would have benefited from the added jobs I have to say that representative from Clarity Entertainment Inc. sounded like nothing more than a fast talker blowing hot air. Looks like the city of Redding will have to find some other companies to fill the empty abyss that is the Stillwater Business Park.

It took me a while to get to this but I wanted to share my experience at another local restaurant. On easter Sunday my mom and I ate at the Courtyard Cafe in Redding,Ca. First of all I have to say the location is great. With the relaxing atmosphere and the homey feeling of the cafe I enjoyed this little cafe tucked away in a corner. My mom and I both had breakfast and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed. Our meals were scrumptious. I especially loved the biscuits and gravy along with my country potatoes with peppers. Everything was delicious and the helpings were decent size. It was the perfect hot home style breakfast to complete my Easter morning. If you ever find yourself on the South end of Redding you should give this place a shot. What do you think of the Courtyard Cafe?

Here we go again yet another example of infringement on an American citizen’s right to free speech.Rocker Ted Nugent is now under investigation by the Secret Service for violent anti-Obama statements he made at an annual National Rifle Association gathering.Ted Nugent was quoted as saying, “I’ll tell you this right now: If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year. We need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November. Any questions?” He was also quoted saying,”If the coyote’s in your living room, pissing on your couch, it’s not the coyote’s fault. It’s your fault for not shooting him.” Ted Nugent may have be an eloquent fellow with his own old country boy logic but he has the right to speak out for his ideals. While I can understand how the Secret Service could misconstrue this as a blatant threat on Obama’s life I would imagine that having the President’s secret service partaking in sexual solicitation in a foreign country would be far more dangerous for the Command and Chief’s lively hood.Thank you Secret Service for representing our country so well.What do you think? The council woman from Shasta Lake City turned herself in on Thursday for charges relating to falsified documentation pertaining to voter fraud that she claims took place when she was being recalled by voters. Supposedly she went so far as to take advantage of a blind man but of course everyone is innocent until proven guilty. I personally don’t trust any politicians and this whole thing stinks to high heaven. That’s my two cents. Well NorCal residents do you think Dolores Lucero is guilty?
